FIRE!!!!!

Ah, yes, the California fires are back. They've been on the news for days and although, I have not been affected directly by them, it's still an odd phenomenon to see the skies filled with never ending clouds of smoke and smell the distinct smell of burning on the air.

The video below is sort of what it has looked like here in the last few days (although, maybe not as bad as this - this video was shot 30 miles from the fires and I would guess that I am about that far as well):

Back to Blogging

It's much like back to school, I think - I'm coming back to the blog-osphere.

Wow, I really took some off. Perhaps it was the inundation of information, ironically, from BlogHer. Perhaps it was exhaustion and stress from work, spilling over into my blogging time. And, perhaps, I just needed some space.

Hopefully, I am back now for good and onto bigger and better things - like a blog theme!
